Community Week of Prayer
We’ve all spent months saying ‘Covid has changed the way we do church.’
But what exactly has it changed? – is it just going to go more digital? Will people even want to come back as they always did, on Sundays? What about our children and teenagers – how will things change for them?
This is an amazing opportunity – a time for new thinking, for innovation. The Holy Spirit is always creative – full of creativity and able to bring in the new. Where is the creativity of the Spirit leading our church at this time? What does He want us to do, to pursue? We are to be fruitful, involved in ‘the Father’s business’ this year. Join us for prayer as we ask and listen to the Lord.
We are glad to announce that we are beginning a weekly prayer time for Christ Church every Wednesday morning from 6.30am - 7.30am. We had so much positive feedback from our week of prayer at the end of January. (You can read some stories in the current edition of the 8am News.)
It will again include wonderful music, scripture and free flowing prayer - on Zoom
One hour every Wednesday morning.
Come if you can, for as long as you can - no rules!

If you have a particular emergency, our prayer chain will mobilise a team of people to
pray for your need. Contact Liz 082 5784155
The “Morning and Evening Prayer” booklet is a helpful resource in this season when we
are more than ever reliant on our practices of personal prayer and devotion.
