Service Times

Christ Church has three services on a Sunday.

The 8am service is a traditional service that offers Holy Communion each Sunday. Familiar hymns accompanied by the organ and at times the choir make this service more traditional. This service tends to have an older congregation than the other two Sunday services.

At the 10am service, Holy Communion is on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. This service is popular with families as we have a creche available for toddlers and childrens church for children 3 years to grade 7.
Our church also has a cry room for parents with small babies and toddlers.

The Evening Service, which starts at 6.30pm offers contemporary worship.
Holy Communion is on the first Sunday of the month.

Signing for the deaf is offered at the 10am and 6.30pm services.
There are people available to pray with you after each service.

Ambies is the youth program that Christ Church has for grade 8 -12. Ambies meets on a Friday night (in term time) for Cell Groups, Engage and Open House and on Sunday mornings at 10am.

Wednesday's 10am Service is a Holy Communion service with fellowship afterwards.

Quiet Service
Do you find it difficult to get to church on Sunday?  We have a service every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6.30 pm in the Church.
It’s a chance to have a quiet space, to listen to The Word, to pray, and to receive Holy Communion. We call it the Quiet Service.
Everyone is welcome.

Holy Communion - We welcome all who know and love the Lord, including children, to share in Holy Communion.
We have chalices of wine as well as grape juice for
children and adults who choose this option.
Please indicate to the Lay Minister if grape juice is your choice.
