Safeguarding
Christ Church Kenilworth is steadfast in its commitment to implementing robust safeguarding practices as a core aspect of our ministry and mission. We are committed to fostering a culture of safety by prioritising the well-being of every child, young person, and adult within our care. To achieve this, we have adopted a proactive approach by partnering with The Guardian, a leading safeguarding organisation. Together, we are committed to:
Establishing and maintaining a safe environment and culture across our campus and within our children's ministries.
Ensuring the safe recruitment and onboarding of all church staff and volunteers working with vulnerable individuals.
Responding promptly and appropriately to any safeguarding concerns or incidents.
Providing pastoral care to victims, survivors of abuse, and other affected individuals.
Addressing and managing those who may present a risk to others.
Christ Church Kenilworth has appointed two Designated Safety Officers, both of whom have received comprehensive training through The Guardian. For further information regarding our safeguarding policies, please do not hesitate to contact them directly.
